Rhode Island Vacation Scrapbook using Studio J

I just got back from a mini vacation to Rhode Island. We visited both Narragansett and Block Island for a few days. The weather was a bit cold but the water was calm, the sights are always beautiful, the shopping is fun and the food was delicious! I created these five layouts in Studio J, our digital scrapbooking software. Each layout will be printed on 12 x 12 glossy paper.  All I need to do next is slide them into the sheet protectors of my summer scrapbook.  And voila! Now both my family and friends can enjoy sharing in all the fun we had.  If you would like me to scrapbook your last vacation just send me 20-25 of your most favorite pics and I'll do the rest!  I'll even put the album together for you! Orange Strawberry Festival- SUNDAY June 3 2012

Super BIG Artwork Post - Leadershare 2012 Artwork



This is a close up of the laser cut shells that I distressed
with creme brulee ink to highlight the intricate cuts.



I had such a blast at this year's Leadershare in New Jersey and I made some BEAUTIFUL artwork if I do say so myself! Thanks so much to CTMH for the opportunity to learn new techniques, use fresh new products, and to create some AMAZING artwork that I am so happy to share with you all! 

These 12x12 pages are made using the new CTMH  Footloose beach-themed papers papers and accessories such wooden circles  and wooden laser cut beach shapes.  The best deal for this packet is the Workshop on the Go  which includes all of the paper, accessories and instructions to make lots of scrapbook pages and additional projects.   One of the new techniques I used on all of my Footloose layouts was the distressing technique to give all the papers a a beachy weathered look. Notice the white edges of all of the papers? I created this look using a sanding block! Super cool, right?! 

This is a close up of the wooden badge buttons. I stamped little sand dollars on them with the stamp set that comes in Workshop on the Go.  I just love how they came out!



Look how cute my seahorse came out! Both the seahorse, clam, and Horsin' sentiment
are part of the special stamp set that comes with the Workshop on the Go.  I used three different
inks (Lagoon, New England Ivy, Creme Brulee) on the seahorse to give it highlights. 




For my "Fun In The Sun" title I used a chunky alphabet stamp on the sand patterned paper.



Now I just need to go buy some sun tan lotion and spend a day relaxing at the beach to fill these awesome pages with some cute pics of me and my son! I just can't wait till summer! 

These next two layouts are created using the Pemberly paper packet, lace flowers, and cork shapes.



I love this sentiment. The stamped flourishes and sentiment are a part of The Best Things stamp set. This is one of my absolute favorite new stamp sets. I just LOVE flourishes! Another neat thing to do with a flourish stamp is to join the flourishes together to create a delicate border around your cards or pages.  



As you can see I used the flourish stamp here as well as the Friend stamp sentiments on these colonial white die-cut cards.  The paper packet I used on these cards is Stella which has beautiful colors of blues, greens and reds.   I also used the new green buttons and cork shapes too.

Leadershare 2012 Roomie Gifts Received

I just love my CTMH friends. Even though we are not official "roomies" we still exchange roomie gifts each year at a CTMH event. Check out these awesome projects my two CTMH BFF's made for me. 

Jolene made me this beautiful frame of my initial sculpted totally out of buttons! She makes the
prettiest scrunchie flowers too!  I couldn't wait to hang this up in my craft room!

Crystal made me this super cute box and filled it with sweet tangerine Bath & Body products.
She used the deep cut blade to cut both the black layered flower and the pink rose out
of felt using her Cricut!  I can wear the rose as a pin or even in my hair!

I love you guys! Thanks again! You're the best! :)

LeaderShare 2012- New Jersey

This past weekend I attended the CTMH Leadershare hosted by Lynn Como and Kristina Livingstone.  I had a blast, learned a lot of new techniques and made so many layouts and cards that I can't possibly post them all in one blog post! The first two pictures are two 12x12 shadow box frames I made as roomie gifts for two of my CTMH friends, Jolene and Crystal.  I had so much fun this weekend!  Here are some pictures from the event...I will post more of my artwork soon!

Cross Country Layouts using Studio J

I have completed the following five layouts using Studio J for the business class of our upcoming CTMH LeaderShare in New Jersey.   Studio J is an online scrapbooking program that allows you to create beautiful layouts fast! You do not need to print your pictures as Studio J prints everything for you and sends you the 12x12 pages with sheet protectors too! If you have not tried this amazing software yet send me an email, I would be happy to show you how! This is also a great way to get caught up on layouts if you are behind in your scrapbooking (and who isn't!?!) and looks amazing for wedding albums, family history albums and special occasions where you may not want to use adhesive on your photos or worry about the papers or accessories decreasing the lifetime of your artwork. 

Although these projects did not go as fast as most of the layouts I have created in Studio J, I did spend more time adding detailing such as stitching and I learned valuable tricks and techniques that I will definitely use in future layouts.  I love Studio J! 

These are all pictures from my family's recent trip cross country.  As you can see we had a blast! Now I just have to finish scrapbooking the rest - in Studio J of course! :)

Peacock Life Is Good Frame

I absolutely LOVE peacocks and recently finished a few peacock 12x12 shadow box frames. I love the feather stamp on the chocolate cardstock and of course the Life Is Good sentiment in the badge. The blue colors and neutrals always look good together and a little bling never hurts either! :)  I have also been hard at work on the layouts for Lynn Como's upcoming LeaderShare in New Jersey.  I am really looking forward to this event! I can't wait to see my CTMH friends again and get my hands on some free CTMH goodies! :)  I will post some of my finished layouts from that event soon...

Our Lady of Victory Craft Fair

Don't miss me this weekend! Milford Oyster Festival

I have gone on a creating frenzy!  I am super excited because I am preparing for this year's Milford Oyster Festival where I will be displaying and selling my beautiful handmade crafts.  I have been papercrafting like a mad woman and loving every minute of it!  Here are a few of the projects that I have created so far.  Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think!  The festival will be held on August 18th and I would love it if you would stop by my booth Stephanie Loves Scrapbooking!
