Studio J Layouts in a Flash

We had a major blizzard here in Connecticut and have been shoveling ourselves out over the past couple of days.  My town was hit pretty hard with over 34 inches in most areas with drifts of 4ft or more!  Believe it or not, I was thrilled to be snowed in! This gave me some extra free time to create using Studio J, Close To My Heart's digital scrapbooking program.  It is so fun and easy and, best of all, there is no mess to clean up!  :)

Each layout is on sale druing the month of February for only $5.  The program is free to use, you only pay for each layout when you decide to print them. Check out Studio J on my CTMH site for more details on this offer.  In taking advantage of this fabulous deal (and because I took tons of awesome snow photos)  I have created three Blizzard layouts.

The following layouts I created in about a quarter of the amount of time it takes me to create a traditional page. Don't worry I am not a total digital scrapper from now on, I still prefer the traditional method best. However, in especially busy times and when I have LOTS of photos, Studio J is the answer to staying (or getting back) on target with my scrapbooks.  I hope you have been inspired to try it for yourself! Try Studio J click here!

Check back to my blog soon for my next traditional layout post featuring Chantilly and Later Sk8r and don't forget to friend me on Facebook to view my Studio J album and Stephanie Loves Scrapbooking page.

Happy Days Layout featuring Chantilly

I have been wanting to scrapbook some of my childhood photos for a long time and have not had the opportunity to do so. This year is that time. I have found the perfect paper packet- Chantilly!

I just LOVE the bright colors and happy patterns on this paper! The pretty dimensional elements and beautiful fabric covered buttons accessorize this paper perfectly.  When you know everything coordinates it makes your layouts come together in a flash.

The pattern I used in this layout was from one of our HOW-TO books titled Magic.  I used the Illusion pattern. Unfortunatley this book is no longer available in its hard cover form but we have three HOW-TO books that are available.  I hope that it will soon be available probably in soft cover form.  I just LOVE our HOW-TO books. Especially the new Make It From Your Heart.  It features 16 two-page layouts and 12 card patterns.  You get the cutting guides, lots of photos and detailed instructions.  The patterns show you what size to cut the papers and how to arrange them on your base paper for perfect balance and eye catching layouts. There is always plenty of room to be creative too with your choice of paper and accessesories.  I highly recommend this book!

Here are some close-ups of my layout for your viewing pleasure :)

Check back soon for more layouts with this paper packet and with the new boy-themed paper Later Sk8r
