Happy September everyone! What a crazy month it has been for me! I decided to home school my son so we have been on a new schedule and busy with new activities. I started a new semester at work with all new students and joined a new committee. I had my car towed, an unfortunate event that should not have happened. I also finished organizing my craft space and had two successful and fun scrapbooking classes! And I even gained another special downline on my team!
So now that I have caught you up on all my recent endeavors, I must apologize to Joyce and the Hoppers for the lateness of this post. Sorry guys! But as the saying goes "better late than never'
so...
If you arrived here from
Helen Gullett's beautiful clean cards you are on the right track. I have been working on getting those Halloween photos scrapbooked. I have a lot of years to catch up on and I am using the fabulous Workshops from CTMH to get me started. Our new Halloween themed pack is called Jeepers Creepers. It has the traditional colors of orange, purple, black and green with the cutest monsters, spooky silly eyeballs and lightening bolts which were perfect for my son's Harry Potter costume. Here is my take on the
Jeepers Creepers Workshop Your Way and an additional layout. I am using this paper collection to scrapbook some of our older Halloween photos since I think it works great with those less-scary costumes. The caption for each photo tells you how I changed the WYW to better fit my style and photos.

I added a mat on the left page since my photo wasn't as large as the pattern called for. |

I changed the journaling block to better fit my page. |
|
I added a flip flap to the page and here it is with the flip flap open |

this page was based on the Quartet pattern from Reflections |
I have more to show you but I have not yet added the photos so I will save them for next month. Hop on over to
Joyce's Blog next but before you do, please leave me a comment below. Thanks and happy crafting!
Beautiful layouts as always Stephanie. I didn't think you were in the hop this month. So glad to see you made it.
